PAINT & FEEL FREE – CAS at Amplified Credit Union – Marcy Ann Villafana

Just got the news , my piece “THROUGH the TULIPS” was just juried into the CAS (Creative Arts Society) show “PAINT AND FEEL FREE” at Amplify Credit Union on Brockton.

Very exciting! It is always an honor to have a piece chose for a show. There is a lot of great artwork that will be there.

CAS has received a grant from the Texas Commission for the Arts. The grant terms require that we use the grant this summer. The CAS Board voted to use the grant money to give awards at the upcoming show at Amplify Credit Union on Brockton and to include in this exhibit art from ACC students and possibly work from a local youth art organization. So, we are turning the upcoming Amplify on Brockton exhibit into a juried exhibit. Art selected in the initial jurying process will be displayed in the glass-roofed lobby area of the credit union – this art will be eligible for further jurying for awards. The remaining art will be displayed in the teller areas and offices. Awards, funded by the grant, will be given to CAS artwork for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places and to the best student art. The reception will also be paid for by the grant.

Reception July 11th at 11 am to 1 pm!!!!!!
